my husband provides but to some extent, that even only for groceries not my personal needs. I have to sell my gold or take food orders to earn something to use on myself. I am also verbally abused almost every day. I don't know what to do.

There is a difference between « husband not providing because he is going through a difficult time » and « husband not providing because he doesn’t want to, is making other people’s wishes (for example his parents) financial WANTS bigger than his own wife’s NEEDS »

So how about my situation both we had jobs, however I had a better salary than him so it’s like I’m all paying the bills, the house, groceries , electric , internet our babies bills I’m the one paying. Like his paying only 20% of the bills in our life so I had right to deny intimacy with him right?

What if the husband doesn’t work for more than 10 year because he became sick because of hard labour? And i am the one who pays the costs of living almost our whole marriage. I don’t like to pay anymore because I can’t put money aside to do hijdra. And we live in a western country where i am being forced to work while si want yo stay with my kids at home. Everytime i talk about this with him, he tries to manipulate me to say that I need to go working just to stay financial stable. But I am not able to do that and leave my kids at home?!? It is so frustrating
