I have a basket of clean washcloths for wiping your hands in my guest bathroom. Nobody wants to use someone else’s bath towel to wipe their hands.

yeah when I have people over, all towels are removed except a clean obvious hand towel, then at the end of day that's out and getting washed with the rest

I have hand towels in both my washrooms that get changed consistently we don't keep used bath towels in our bathrooms. they get hung in our rooms till they are dry then put on laundry baskets. we don't use bath towels more than once here
