We usually find that a small carrier bag generally suffices to transport a single portion sandwich and other associated lunch menu items here in the UK. Unlike in the US. Where one has to arrange for a fork-lift and pick-up truck to handle a simple lunch menu portion or, sandwich..... You're welcome!

Taking leftovers home from a restaurant is not really a thing here, so most eating places don't automatically have a box to put it in for you. You're lucky they gave you a bag, we have to pay for bags in supermarkets and food takeaway outlets.
