@korean_yijun: can you hear the difference? 👀 korean single and double consonants may sound similar at first, but they don’t start the same way. single consonants flow more easily into the vowel, so they may feel more open and resonant. double consonants begin with more tension and pressure, so the sound starts tighter and sharper. not louder. tighter. 가 / 까 다 / 따 바 / 빠 사 / 싸 자 / 짜 which pair is the hardest for you to hear?
