i'm not a fan of this exercise and my knees are really not enjoying it either. can it be omitted? like i know this exercise is more for the legs/hamstrings rather than the ass. if my goal is training the ass mostly are squats that important? i've seen ppl mentioning it isn't really necessary if one can't perform correctly/doesn't like it
