there’s something extremely raw about the written style of women and how they document the female experience. Not attempting to philosophise this, but when reading this, I felt a maternal love through her language that no one but a mother could create. i adore when words are used this way

I was emotionally neglected as a child, and I struggle a lot with many things now that I’m almost an adult. It’s insane to think that every big problem I have to face on a daily basis goes back to some of these phrases, that may sound so simple, that nobody told me to reassure me when I was younger, it’s crazy how complicated an individual’s life can become just by not hearing such simple sentences that we might even take for granted. You had an awesome mother, I wish you all the best❤️
