So, we did this, and now we’re trying to get rid of it. Weeds don’t just grow from under the rocks. They also settle on top, and grow anyway. Gravel is the worst.

We used that same pea gravel for our playground and it gets you sooo dirty 😳 hopefully yours won’t. I wish we had done something else.

Everybody’s so negative about the pea gravel but it’s only uncomfortable to walk on if it’s too thick of a layer and they had half 1/4 minus (I think) and half pea gravel so it’s gonna be fine!! Looks beautiful

Love the pergola. Looks amazing for that spot. Pea gravel will be a head ache but some pavers in strategic spots would be just fine.
