I believe if you put a bay leaf in when pickling it will help keep pickled things crispy crunchy!

the rice vinegar is probably what changed the flavor of the lemon pickles. Rice vinegar has a distinct flavor compared to regular or apple cider vinegar.

Same here! I do not like BnB pickles but I am a suckerrr for this brand called Fickle pickles. They’re sweet, little spicy and crunchy. They are locally made in Texas and yes you can order them online☺️☺️
