📍Saké Restaurant & Bar, The Rocks Finally got to visit @sakerestaurant for my graduation dinner👩‍🎓 and it did not disappoint🥹 such a flavour-packed meal from start to finish 🍶🔥 The vibe is moody and intimate with that warm ambient lighting and music, it actually gets packed out at night but feels really cosy, perfect for a nice dinner out. We started with the salmon and wagyu tacos 🌮 bite-sized but full of flavour. The S Express was a well-balanced roll with a creamy jalapeño mayo and tempura scallops 🍣🌶️ The roasted scallops were out of this world (highlight for me) buttery, soft, and melted in my mouth, especially with the shiitake rice and crispy nori 🦪 We also had the classic miso soup which is always a comforting little reset between courses 🥣 The mains were just as good. The wagyu striploin was incredible, cooked medium rare with that rich yakiniku sauce, so tender and flavourful 🥩 The sashimi platter came with 22 pieces and was beautifully presented 🍣 But honestly… one of my favourite things was the brussels sprouts 😮‍💨 The kimchi vinaigrette gave it such a bold, punchy flavour, I could’ve eaten a whole bowl on my own😚 And of course, had to end with the Dragon Egg dessert 🥚🍌 The staff poured over warm caramel to melt open the chocolate shell and inside is banana mousse, passionfruit curd, and hazelnut miso caramel - so rich and so much fun to eat!
