I moved here from a town smaller than new Braunfels. They have a thriving community theater that has been there since 1933. They usually put on about six to eight shows a year and the theater is rented out for other ventures. That is one thing that I miss about my old community.

Growing up I attended Ballet New Braunfels (even made company a couple times towards the end) and we performed a lot at the Brauntex. I miss those days and getting to perform there. It’s been a while since I’ve been inside, has it gone downhill or something? Or is it like a management issue?

I agree wholeheartedly about the arts. However, comparing a low income life with low quality of life makes me shake. You certainly can have a low income life and still have a high quality life. This is the part of NB I miss. It seems more and more, they only want the $$$ to come here. My dream is that everyone can live a high quality no matter your income in NB. This is the struggle in this country as a whole.
