Believe or not this place was the first established human civilization after the flood of Noah. It’s an ancient biblical place and center of the frankincense & myrrh road. They’ve got one of the best honey in the world. Hadramout is very ancient and the mud bricks are considered as the “Manhattan of the desert.” Successful wealthy businessmen who travelled to Indonesia, Malaysia, India and east Africa more than 150 years ago came from this place. Many people from these countries trace their ancestry to this place. Very hospitable and beautiful people. Thank you for documenting this exquisite journey.
