the thing is that, they're representing how addictions can get to a point where you absolutely LOVE it, or get OBSESSED with it. There are no words that can describe once you have an addiction and how badly you love doing it, addiction's can get way to far. The anime also shows that such as smoking, having boombayah, etc.
