when I was a kid before movie land, this was a field we used to ride bikes in and there was a BMX track with jumps. I miss open spaces.

At least the Hoffman has a nice restaurant, but a residence inn won’t have that. There’s already two Marriotts in Glenwood, why do we need another one in basalt

Medium/Long term hotel is likely needed for the construction workers needed for the workers for the new construction projects slated in the near future. It is very likely not for tourist nor our community.

We don’t need another mid hotel 😩 would love a rec center for Willits / basalt, that would be a better way to use that space!

I think we should have something there that benefits the kids in the community, just the locals, and people who live here in Basalt year round. Basalt planning probably knows that, but you know they’re gonna go with whatever the land owner wants.
