On the seller side, there are a lot of service providers offering AI options to create shoppable videos, and it’s got ZERO appeal or connection! When I see a brand using AI, it screams “is this a legit business that that isn’t creating a real video???”!

I scroll immediately when I know it's AI or suspect. The videos that get me to actually want to buy are ones where I have no idea it's an ad until they drop the product. I'm drawn in by a story, something they are doing, or something other than the product first or overly salesy-pitches.

I prefer to see real people in real content. Why would I buy something from an AI generated video? That isn’t even a real review to me. I would scroll right past. But I guess it works for some people!
