I mean the trip to Pandora is like 6 earth years. Lets add an additional 15 Pandoran years. Jake hasn't been on earth for 21 years. Considering the light years between earth and pandora, we can probably assume that although 21 years has passed for Jake, on earth its probably a higher number because of space distance which means nobody on earth has seen Jake for around 30 earth years. Lets assume Jakes friends were around his age or a bit older when he left earth as Jake was 22 when he left. His friends would be 50+ by the third movie. Lets add the additional skip for the 4th movie which will be 8 years. That means Jake won't have been on earth for 29 years, people on earth haven't seen him for nearly 40 and most of his friends are probably dead because they're nearly 70

I got an OC that's a long distance relative of Jake's and hates Jake becouse his 'crimes' affected what was left of the family on earth. 🥰 so not really wondering were he is but it would be cool if Jake got more canon explanations on his family from earth in the movies. Like even just him telling the kids or Neytiri about a grandma they'll never meet or something.
