As a deaf person let me suggest getting a deaf friend. Seriously. Because we have to watch every facial movement, every body language, even down to the smallest micro detail, we pick up on evvvvverything. At the very least you’ll have someone to relate to and worst case scenario you’ll learn sign language—which is awesome for when the vibes somewhere are off and you don’t want to yell “I’m leavvvvving this awful place” out loud. Just sign it and we’re good.
