@megannimmo3: #creatorsearchinsights ⚠️ This is a longer video (almost 2 minutes), but if you’ve ever wondered whether your symptoms could be endometriosis, I really encourage you to watch until the end. How do you know if you have endometriosis? The truth is, you can’t diagnose endometriosis based on symptoms alone. While symptoms can be a clue, a diagnosis requires assessment by a healthcare professional, and in many cases the only way to definitively diagnose endometriosis is through surgery. Common symptoms can include: • Severe period pain that affects your daily life • Chronic pelvic pain • Pain during or after sex • Pain when opening your bowels or passing urine, especially during your period • Heavy or irregular bleeding • Bloating and digestive symptoms • Fatigue • Fertility problems for some people Not everyone with endometriosis experiences the same symptoms, and the severity of symptoms doesn’t always reflect how extensive the condition is. If your pain is affecting your quality of life or something doesn’t feel right, please don’t ignore it. Book an appointment with your GP or another qualified healthcare professional and explain how your symptoms are impacting your daily life. You know your body better than anyone, and persistent pain deserves to be taken seriously. 💛 This post is for awareness only and isn’t a substitute for medical advice #EndometriosisAwareness #EndometriosisUK #WomensHealthMatters #ChronicIllnessAwareness
