Or is this a way to filter for aligned values? I would not be offended at all - if a guy had a voucher to an amazing restaurant and he chose to use it on a date with me - for me it shows confidence to own your finances, and that you value experiences.

The error wasn’t using the discount. The error was revealing that he had a discount. I have $100 gift card to an amazing Italian restaurant and not a lot of other funds right now. I can guarantee I’m gonna use that but I’ll contact the restaurant ahead of time and we will make sure my date doesn’t know. Lol.
