The LSU part of BR is pretty different from the rest of BR and the closing early is a post covid thing restaurants near lsu stayed open much later pre-covid I had to adjust when I moved away from campus to the 8-9pm restaurant closing times

I went to LSU and now live near the beach in LA. I couldn’t imagine doing it in reverse. Baton Rouge was a huge adjustment for me coming from Dallas, which is where I was born and I definitely noticed how much slower things were down there living in Louisiana changed me forever. I just made them both this past weekend and I really miss the food and culture
