This plus when they stand your item up on the counter so everyone in line can see exactly what you’re buying while maintaining an insane amount of eye contact and then leave to find another employee to help who will also come over and look at what you’re buying along with the twenty other people in line while you stand there for ten minutes while they try to ring it up🥲

got into an argument with a spencers worker on here because they kept video replying to my one comment and insisting that the spencers scented cleaner was necessary because unscented soap particles would somehow fuse into silicone permanently because of the molecular size of soap vs fragrance oils suspended in a detergent/surfactant or something their manager probably told them

i used to work ther corporate woild watch us on camera and keep track of the additional sales yell at us if we don’t sell enough add ons (toy cleaner, batteries, etc)
