I felt immediately immense relief as soon as I chose my car I LOVE IT. (Year 7)

I was evicted after becoming a week late on my rent after paying on time for over 3 years. After being evicted, the world changed. Rent prices tripled. I no longer make enough money to even qualify for an apartment. So I do consider myself while I live in my car. However, I no longer have a goal of trying to get an apartment, it’s just not sustainable with my income, and again I don’t qualify. I face criticism for calling myself homeless but it’s the truth. Peoples lives are falling apart because housing is becoming out of reach for more and more people everyday.

That’s exactly what I did… I was burnt out and could barely function, but I hung in there for a couple years until I collect retirement. I saved up and had myself set up… I thought about it for a couple years… And then I did it for a couple years and it was awesome… I do it all over again, and it might happen… But for me, it was a really good time to heal and grieve, and I processed all of my crap… I’m still processing, but I didn’t have to worry about working just to keep my head above water… It was a gift I gave myself. I met a lot of people out there and saw a lot of different things… It’s what you make it. Looks to me like you’re thriving…

I made the choice to live in my car, the rent is too much out here and my choice was because I was just house poor and never had any extra money to do anything. And now I’m saving and getting things paid off
