The History of Shirk: From Images to Polytheism, Idolatry, and Paganism | Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan ━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🖼️ The First Shirk Began With Making Images ➡️ This video explains how the first occurrence of shirk, associating partners with Allah, appeared on earth among the people of Nuh when they made images of their righteous men. ➡️ Shaytan beautified this action for them, making it appear harmless and praiseworthy, under the pretext of remembering the righteous and being inspired by them. Over time, this remembrance turned into veneration, then devotion, until it ultimately resulted in worshipping the images themselves and believing that they could bring benefit or harm besides Allah. ⚠️ For this reason, the Prophet ﷺ strongly warned against image-making.
