yes the full genotype (lineage) is shared between the mother and father. BUT, according to the starting zygote (fertilized egg): the cytoplasm, organelles, EVERYTHING except the 50% dna coming from dad js actually from mom. furthermore, mitochondrial DNA comes from ONLY the mom.

This is just not true, 50% of your DNA comes from each parent. You don't just inherit DNA from your maternal line.

I’ve always found it so sweet that my grandmother carried my mom in her womb while also carrying me in a way (her eggs/oocytes). That means a lot to me. We continue our lineage through girls.

I don't understand this debate, there is a maternal lineage steming from the mitochondria and a paternal lineage steming from the Y chromosome. Both lineage exist and are mutually exclusive, no need for ranking.

You didn't disprove the idea of a family line, you just redefined it. By that logic, every family line ends and starts over with every marriage, which doesn't make much sense.

I can say the same goes for the sons because they continue tha paternal haplogroup which is part of the bloodline so in reality both the daughter and the son continue the bloodlines
