That’s a pretty misleading stereotype. 😄 Italians live there, they’re going to work, meeting people, or running errands,while tourists may walk 10–15 kilometres a day in the heat. When Italians go sightseeing or hiking, they don’t do it in suits and elegant shoes either.😉

Acclimatisation. 🙂 Many years ago I had an apartment in Southern Spain. I used to go out there at the end of January, going around in a tee shirt and shorts while the Spanish who thought we were mad had coats on. However over time you started wearing more clothes 🙂

Fake, all I hear in the states on how hot they are, you found a few people all deck up, 100 degrees is hot, plus the tourists are walking much more than locals, unless they are the pickpockets,
