@ksandone: Alzheimer’s didn’t win today. 💜 Today, Anthony did something he used to do without thinking. To most people, it might have looked like an ordinary task. To me, @TonysTok it was extraordinary. When you love someone living with Alzheimer’s, you learn to celebrate what others may never notice. The small victories become the biggest moments. Today, we celebrated one of those moments. Because today… Alzheimer’s didn’t win. #AlzheimersAwareness #YoungerOnsetAlzheimers #Caregiver #Hope #SandoneStrong

I hated watching my husband struggle with things that used to be so easy for him🥺🥺 my husband passed last August at 60 years old from early on Alzheimer's... I can't tell you what a drastic change it is once they're gone🥺

This made me cry. My husband with Alzheimer’s was a surveyor and when we went to catch a train, I filmed him picking at a wall. It’s as if he was at work inspecting the mortar joints on the brickwork 🥰

This is literally my life now, my husband was diagnosed at 53, he's in the advanced stage now at 57. He's non verbal, doesn't know me anymore, his decline was very fast, I hate this cruel disease 💔

It’s a roller coaster ride he will impress you here and there throughout the disease. Great to see him having a good day. Which my family would call it.

20+ years ago my mom had the same diagnosis. When I was a kid, she used to take me to the swimming pool and sit there and just read her magazine or book and enjoy. My kids were three and five in one day I took her to a swimming pool in her condominium complex. At one point, she looked at my youngest jump into the pool, turned to me, and said he reminds me of you when you were that age. It’s still brings tears to my eyes.

Cared for a woman who had Alzheimer's early stage mid stage she was an artist there were things she could never remember, sometimes forgot how to read, but when she sat down with a sketchpad and a pencil all her artistic talent came right back.
