the taiga is just a bigass northern forest. i'd rather survive the taiga than the amazon. if u can make fire and some stonetools ur set. in the amazon there's like cannibal ppl and you can just like fucking die by walking wrong, in the taiga you'r biggest fear is a pack of wolves, a moose or a bear.

my village is in the middle of the taiga and there are a LOT of tiny little villages/houses all over the place (off grid) it's not as insanely sparse as it seems, it's just that the satellites don't capture them well as they're usually very small and they don't clear enough trees to make it obvious.

So…there were people living in Russia that didn’t know both world wars happened…also the largest meteor impact happened in Siberia and it took years for people to get to the impact zone. It’s a wild, remote area. Pretty sure Bigfoot lives there too

I wonder if there are any isolated tribes living in the Russian Taiga Forest since it’s that much bigger even though it would also be unlikely due to the winters it would likely cause the people to die off.
