my camp has a badmington court... but then the beach is a 10 min walk so no need of a pool

Been here a lot and it’s a beautiful camp. Food is great, rooms are amazing, shop is well stocked. But don’t get it twisted, you’re still doing 12-14 hour days away from your friends and family. It definitely makes it easier, but FIFO is still a tough job.

Also super important for those who think all camps are like this, it’s not. It’s a rarity. If you get it, stay there!! Some I stay at are have rooms completely mouldy, no hot water or towels that are so thin they’re see through.

Depends on your camp, roster and hours. Never seen a camp pool like that in 15 years and would have never had time to use it anyway.
