My hubs and I got my son (he was 6yrs old) into Pokémon and we’d do pack battles and even bonded over organizing our binders together 😭 in the past year or two we haven’t bought anything because when we do have the money for it there’s nothing to buy. Now we just look through our collection and sigh

i just started a few weeks ago 😅 like it all started with me buying a tin with Eevee because it was cute 🥰 but then i opened the booster packs and now im stuck like why was it so fun to open. 😂like i have bought my first binder and now im buying sleeves help me 😂

Unfortunately nothing is going to change until stores come up with an ID system to stop scalpers from over buying AND people stop buying from scalpers for like 6 months to driver down their sales and they’ll have to move on

I absolutely despise scalpers, I'm 16 years old, and I haven't been able to open product consistently at ALL. This month when I got my allowance I asked my mom to go to a toy store so I could get pokemon cards, she had to drive to 3 different locations just so I could find one singular pokemon product on the shelf, that I didn't even end up buying. This year I've opened 4 packs and it sucks. I can't even buy good sets anymore for good prices. Like back when Lost Origin came out, the ETB's were available and affordable, but now the prices are just out of hand for many new sets that just came out

one of my stores had I think the scarlet violet set and I even asked my aunt and father to help get me something and my aunt told me the day they put them into stock one single guy bought the whole box she isnt even in the game but was mad as well there is some coming Thursday and ik I won't get anything scalpers annoy me so badly
