I think the Songbirds and Snakes movie was too difficult to try and capture how young Snow is. I think it's why so many ppl misunderstood. because the book shows his true evilness and disdain for people through inner monologue which can be difficult to convey in a movie with time restraints unfortunately :/

honestly some of the discourse I saw in response to young snow pissed me off and tells me some of you need things spelled out explicitly. even young snow when he was infatuated with Lucy gray hated everything who she was and the other tributes. people saying Lucy pray "turned him evil" genuinely piss me off

ykw... now that I REALLY think about it I think 100% next book is gonna be plutarchs book (could even be a semi anthology visiting multiple games) bcuz 1st was someone who got to snows (cold shirivelled long ☠️) heart, 2nd was our king who stayed under snows skin, bet, 3rd will be plutarch who (apparently cuz HE DIDNT GET CAUGHT😝) knew snow and his MIND better than he did... and could be a stretch but its SUZANNE, idk the books seem possibly connect to body parts as a body of work and the original trilogy being about she who breathed (lungs) new life into Panem

I have conflicting feelings about Young Snow. Young Snow with hair looks cute, young snow with the buzz cut gave me Eminem vibes (don't ask me why, that's what I told my mom randomly when we watched the movie), but I will never thirst for him 😂
