completely unrealistic, $7,000 at 18? and damn near tripling that in 4 years? people are in college during that time frame. $25,000 invested by 22 is almost impossible. people are working to pay for school, or in school and can’t work.

I'm too European for this... why on earth would you want to save 2.5 million for your retirement??? What are you going to do with it? Build a mausoleum?? Tip from an old fogey. Live now. You could be dead tomorrow. Work through your bucket list now. As you get older, your needs decrease too. My father (sadly deceased) worked himself to the bone for his retirement. My mother is well-off, but lives on 800 dollars a month and does everything, while ten times that amount comes in monthly. Now she regrets not having enjoyed life more when she was younger.
