This includes forced labor (such as bonded labor, forced domestic work, and state-sponsored labor) and forced marriage. Racism operates through deep-rooted, centuries-old institutional systems. It affects access to housing, healthcare, criminal justice outcomes, and generational wealth building. It has historically been encoded into state laws, segregation policies, and state-sanctioned violence. Whereas what you call “heightism” operates primarily through implicit cultural biases, interpersonal microaggressions, and physical stereotyping.
