as a seller, a trainer and an installer of PEX, PEX B is superior, it's more rigid, less sagging, it also can return to its shape by applying heat, as they both are made of crossed-linked polyethylene, PEX A downsides are the tool costs more than a crimper, it's still requires a ring, in hotter areas you have to hold the PEX on the fitting for a longer period of time for it to go back to shape, thermal properties of the pipe, and in colder climates, it's tougher overall to expand of it's been setting cold for awhile, also PEX A in general is less durable, mostly because it's softer material, and there are many class action lawsuits showing split pipe or leaking joints, PEX B win imo on all fronts

Not sure if you have ever tried spax screws, but I personally prefer them over tapcons, mostly because I hate that tapcons are blue😂😂😂

Pex-A also works great with Bend Supports. let's you make a 90 without having to use elbows every time. less joints to splice and chance of leaks.
