Replying to @Vnnjdrfs SnapBack Series 🫶🏼 I DESPISE protein I don't want to think about it every single meal. I don't like the taste of protein shakes, I'm vegetarian, and my body did not do well living off protein powders and bars. I was bloated, breaking out, and constantly inflamed, even when I was buying the "clean" ones. You can't convince me that getting most of your meals from processed protein is healthier than eating real food. This is what worked for me I got most of my protein at breakfast so I could stop thinking about it for the rest of the day and actually enjoy my normal ethnic meals. I also stopped forcing myself to eat 1.5g of protein per pound of body weight and lowered it to about 0.7g per pound. That's still above the minimum recommendation, but it actually matched my goals. I'm not an athlete. I'm not a bodybuilder. I walk, do a little resistance training, and just want to stay healthy. Most of my protein now comes from lentils and dairy, and it's something I can actually stick to BECAUSE I WANT TO EAT MY INDIAN FOOD MKAY If your goal is gain muscle,you're an athlete your vs mine is different. That's completely fine. But if you're using protein powder, remember it's called a supplement for a reason. It shouldn't have to replace most of your meals.
