@kaileelomax: With my twins I had zero preparation and didn't even consider what I ate before my test. Then I failed by two points but I still failed the three hour test which was inevitable So this time..... I am taking precautions so I don't fail the one hour test just to pass the three hour test My appointment was at 2:30 and I ate my last meal (breakfast) at 9:30 so fingers crossed we'll keep ya posted #gestationaldiabetes #glucosetest #thirdtrimester #28weekspregnant #pregnacytiktok

I wish it worked like this! Unfortunately, if you have it, you have it. Nothing you can really do to prevent it.

My doctors office literally gave me zero instruction other than don’t eat anything with sugar like fruit. I failed my 1 hr and now I’m stressed about the 3hr test

I was weirdly grateful I had the “baby ‘betes” with my twins. It helped me keep my diet in check, I didn’t gain a bunch of weight and I felt so much better overall. Pretty much inevitable with twins, so I was prepared mentally. 😊

Unfortunately whatever you eat before the test doesn’t matter at all. If you have it you have it there’s no way to “avoid” a positive glucose test

YOU DONT HAVE TO TAKE THE TESTTTTT!! I took my blood sugar levels 4x a day for a week instead. Ironically, my dr never even asked me for my numbers.

This picture feels exactly like the energy I move with every day in this city. It’s me kicking through whatever door life tries to put in front of me — no permission, no warning, no asking, no waiting. Just showing up loud, real, and undeniable. The explosion of papers, sparks, debris flying everywhere — that’s what happens when I step into a space people didn’t expect me to walk into. My presence shakes shit up. My truth knocks things loose. My movement hits with impact. That brick wall behind me with I’M HERE blasted across it? That’s the message I live by. I don’t sneak in. I don’t tiptoe. I don’t ask if it’s okay. I show up because I’m supposed to be here. I show up because my people need me. I show up because the truth needs a voice.“NO PERMISSION. NO WARNING.” That’s how I move. That’s how I speak. That’s how I document. That’s how I stand with my people every single day.I run into folks all over this city. I support them. I uplift them. I show dignity for them. I post them because they matter. I walk with them because they’re part of the movement. This picture is that same energy — me breaking through the noise, the assumptions, the labels, the misunderstandings, the systems that think they get to decide who shows up and who doesn’t.I’m here. I’m present. I’m loud. I’m moving. I’m pushing. I’m documenting. And I’m not asking anybody for permission to exist. That TJE stamp in the corner? That’s me claiming my space. That’s me saying I’m here on purpose. That’s me saying the movement is active, alive, and kicking down every door in front of it.This picture is my message in motion: I don’t wait. I don’t hide. I don’t soften. I show up — and everything around me feels it.
