It is normal for towels to soak up some of the detergents and products we wipe on them overtime, or even become this way from hard-water build upโ€ฆ but letโ€™s get rid of it!! ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป We are going to โ€œstripโ€ the towels today. ๐Ÿง–โ€โ™€๏ธ Laundry stripping is the process of removing the buildup on the fabrics to reveal fresh, white fabrics! ๐Ÿณ๏ธ Instructions: โญ๏ธ Fill tub ยฝ full with HOT water (more clothes = more water) โญ๏ธ Add CLEAN clothes or towels (ONLY putting the same color and fabric together) โญ๏ธ Add 2 Cups Powdered Laundry Detergent (I use Tide) โญ๏ธ Add ยผ Cup Borax Laundry Detergent and Booster โญ๏ธ Add ยผ Cup Arm & Hammer So Clean Super Washing Soda โญ๏ธ Add ยผ Cup Calgon Water Liquid Softener โญ๏ธ Mix well, until it has dissolved. Let it sit for 4 hours and check back every hour to mix it with gloves or a large spoon. ๐Ÿฅ„ At hour 4, after mixing, scrub any remaining stains with a laundry brush (if needed) and drain the tub! Squeeze out excess water from each towel, and transfer the towels to a bucket to carry to the washing machine! ๐Ÿงผ Drop it in the washing machine and โŒDO NOT add any detergentโŒ, there is plenty still in the clothes.
