People need to understand that FIFA doesn’t create new rules overnight. Rule changes happen because players, coaches, referees, and football associations identify recurring problems that need to be addressed. If a rule makes it into the Laws of the Game, it’s because it has gone through years of discussion, testing, and feedback. The mistaken identity rule is a good example it was introduced because the wrong player was sometimes being punished, and the football community wanted a way to fix those mistakes. You can disagree with how a rule was applied in a specific match, but that’s different from arguing the rule shouldn’t exist. Most rules exist because they make the game fairer and more accurate.

Yeah people are tweaking if no yellow was given to Argentina then he might not have gotten a yellow but he also dived. But the rule is if a yellow is given and overturned it has to be given to someone so completely his fault
