By definition, simulation is a yellow. By definition, mistaken identity rule is there to watch and if a card is issued to wrong player, VAR can award to correct player. This was the 100% by the book. We can’t arbitrarily say “well, he is already sitting on a caution so we can’t apply the clear laws of the game against him”. You flop while already having a caution against you, then you play with fire. He cheated to try to get another player a yellow card. He absolutely deserved the yellow card. Since he had one already, he is absolutely to be awarded a 2CT red card.
