Every time I hit it, it hits the side in my hands or closer to my wrist and never hits straight on and if I do hit it on my palm right it still doesn’t make it over. (second day of volleyball ever camp and I know basics) also this is the first ever sport I’ve ever done but I’m so sore too

Guyss i thought i wasnt strong enough to overhand serve but turns put it was just the technique! If your just standing straight and now drawing ur elbow there is no power going into the serve! Me personally i also just added a little jump and it just gave my serve an extra boost! Its all about contact and technique make sure your swinging your arm fast and hittinng it at its highest point
