I learned to put some Flonase on my finger or on a Q-tip and rub it inside of my ear canal because allergy related when my ear itch and it’s bad as fuck, but also your ear is supposed to have ear wax in it to protect your eardrum and canal also

I'm a chronic earbud wearer so i got one of these only to discover that #1 i have wet ear wax, so qtips actually are the best option, and #2 i have lots of sebum around my ear, which revived my skin picking addiction that i had only quit because of the scarring it left...
