John Fysch :
The Bible tells us not to be drunk. At what point while drinking is one considered drunk? I know the legal definition, but I’m asking what was meant by the verse. Obviously if Jesus made the water into the best wine ever he would have known that people would be drinking enough to feel the effects to some extent and didn’t consider that to be a sin. So how does one partake in alcohol ánd avoid the definition of what they considered drunk at the time? I’ve wondered this since I was a kid. I enjoy some alcohol maybe once every other month ánd only drink enough to feel the effects near the lowest level. I’m not an alcoholic, nor do I become so inebriated that I can’t control myself or forget things, but I do like to feel the buzz every now and then and it’s never felt sinful to me but I’ve always wondered where the line was, biblically.

Father Ricky, I am a Roman Catholic looking into Anglicanism. What is the Anglican teaching on the Filioque? I bought a 1662 Book of Common Prayer (not the international) and a King James Bible. I like the Mystery of Anglicanism and that it is not so legalistic. Could you make a video on the Filioque?

I know you’re joking about the bartender thing, but we should also make sure to tell people that alcohol back then was a lot different than it is now and it was a lot less potent back then as well and the fact we’re not supposed to be drunkards, it’s not a sin to drink, but it is to be a drunk🙏🏼✝️❤️
