incoming 2nd year, huhu. nakakakaba, na nakaka-excite. pa tanga-tanga pa naman ako minsan, tapos slow learner pa. nauuna pa ang kaba kapag tinatanong ako, hindi ko rin alam kung bakit ba ako nag nursing. pero natapos ko na ang first year. wala nang atrasan. thank you po sa tips🤍

in the DR, ALWAYS HAVE THE PRESENCE OF MIND. Coach the mother without being prompted by the staff, anticipate the needs of the midwife (especially is ur the handle). - Pls eat ur meals before your duty to avoid fatigue and fainting - Confirm your scrubs/cases with your CI, kasi minsan may mga cases that can be considered invalid, (such as premie si baby or na-vaccumm yung newborn) but this will depend on your institutions as for us there are some conditions with regards to the cases. - HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF, and don't be too hard sa self mo because you're still learning

Yes, mga anak, please don’t be afraid to ask. We actually appreciate it when you do. If you’re unsure, ask first it’s always better than guessing, especially when a patient’s safety is involved. Ask your CI, staff nurse, doctor, or anyone who can guide you. You’re here to learn, not to prove that you know everything already. Hindi kayo nandito para maging perfect agad. Nandito kayo para matuto, and that’s exactly what we’re here for.
