@help.safe.a.dog: This is Julie. We just rescued her from her previous owner. When I first saw her and learned what they had been feeding her, tears dropped from my cheeks. I couldn't understand how anyone could sleep while knowing this dog was in such poor condition. Some people simply shouldn't have pets. Julie hasn't had good food in who knows how long. When we approached her owner to offer to take her, she refused and insisted we had to pay to take her. We couldn't leave this beautiful dog behind, so we had no choice but to meet her demands. After bringing Julie to the hospital for a checkup, we were relieved to hear from the doctor that she will be alright. She just needs rest and proper nourishment.
