And they surrender to the Allies cuz Russia were on its way and had just beaten a 1,5 million army in China, where Japan only had a 1 million army. They surrender so Russia would not kill the Emperor. Weeks after the nukes, nukes that did nothing for this surrender as Japan kept waiting still for USA to land and lose on ground.
