@kaeos.kitchenandplay: Teaching my baby to use a spoon for the very first time! 🥹🥄 This is the same method I used with my other two kids, and it worked so well for them, so I’m excited to use it again with my youngest 👶🏻🩵 One thing to remember, self-spoon feeding doesn’t happen overnight. It takes lots of patience, practice, and repetition. Babies are learning so many new skills at once; hand eye coordination, fine motor control, how to scoop, balance the food on the spoon, bring it to their mouth without tipping it, and coordinate all of those movements together. That’s a lot for such little hands! 🥹 Expect the mess, celebrate the small wins, and let them learn at their own pace.
