I had a mod once that detected what you were wearing and NPCs acted accordingly. Ie, heavy armour in cities and towns would result in the player character getting asked about war, and thieve/dark brotherhood apparel would result NPC avoidance except for guards who would question/arrest. Only fine clothes would result in a normal interaction. I wish the base game acted like that, it made it more fun.
