The actions of the officer were not in the best interest of patient safety or the safety of EMS personnel. The scene in question is in command and its conduct is at the discretion of the department in charge of the patient.

This would never happen in Denmark. In Denmark the Firefighters are "in charge at the scene" and the police force assist them.

This is wildly unbelievable. I assumed that Police, Fire and Paramedics not only worked together (as one) but they bad a lot of respect for eachother and backed one another up, especially in emergency response situations. Maybe the one with the "gun" and "hand cuffs" missed that lecture in training!🙁
