@blueacregarden: Sunscald on your hydrangeas? Don’t panic! If your hydrangea leaves and flowers are turning brown, crispy, or developing scorched patches, sunscald could be the culprit. Too much intense afternoon sun, combined with heat and inconsistent watering, can damage even healthy and mature plants. Tips to help your hydrangeas recover: 🌸 Water deeply in the morning. 🌳 Provide afternoon shade when possible. 🍂 Add mulch to keep roots cool and retain moisture. ✂️ Remove severely damaged leaves and let new growth emerge naturally. Have you noticed sunscald on your hydrangeas this summer? Last week’s heat wave was brutal! Let me know how your hydrangea held up! #Hydrangeas #Sunscald #HydrangeaCare #GardeningTips #gardeningtiktokcontest
Is there any variety of hydrangea that loves full sun?

My landscapers planted mine in full sun and they brown every year. 😫 When it the best time to move them to a less sunny spot in my backyard?

I have contemplated covering mine with a sheet in the afternoon sun when it’s super hot but I think the neighbors would worry for my sanity 😂

My macrophylla hydrangeas have not bloomed any flowers yet. I didn’t prune or touch them and they are full of green leaves, but no blooms present. Why?!? 😩 I’m in Southeastern WI

I planted Endless Summer Hydrangeas this spring. They are fried 😭 Zone 7, almost full afternoon sun. I currently have shade cloth up, trying to protect them, but should I just take them out and pot them where they can be shaded? I don’t know what to do!
