turbo always went ton mine, not as much fun as the saxo vts was thou it was running 172bhp with no weight just lowered on coilys 40m all round fully strutbraced discs front and back prob the biggest job. it was white, but changed the wheels for pug GTI Raptors and sprayed them black, looked sick, thats a massive "i wish I never " moments.. was so clean not a poc of rust I was a valater so it was kept up to standard all underside coated it was all debadge and smoothed doors, tidy as fuck inside too had the bucket leather and alcantara seats front n back and disappearing head unit from like 03 when it was built had a camera on the fron and back and a nice 1t" sub and 1000w amp all kenwood loved it

Cracking wee cars, remember growing up thinking these were absolutely amazing. Was one of many 90’s hot hatches I aspired to own but never did! The most notable 5GT turbo that sticks in my mind is the one that graced the pages of Max Power back in the day, was modded by a guy called Jamie I think who’s company was called Charisma Automotive??
