It’s amazing that it’s 2026 and we still have autorun even though it’s been considered a security risk for 30 years. I’ve had IT people from major corporations tell me autorun wasn’t a security risk.

Not True that’s not how it works. A monitor is just a display device; it doesn’t process software or have the ability to install anything on your computer. If someone said they got a virus "from their monitor," it’s likely they misunderstood the actual source. The virus probably came from a compromised file, link, or software on their machine.

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to have that problem xD (for the record, this is my secondary monitor, absolute trooper, I assume it's around 15-20 years old, used daily and still going strong. Once it threatened breaking - glitched - but when i started to look for another one it got back to working perfectly fine xD)
