@adeel_virkk: Parveen Shakir (24 November 1952 – 26 December 1994) was one of Pakistan's most celebrated Urdu poets, known for introducing a distinctive feminine voice into modern Urdu poetry. Born in Karachi, she gained widespread recognition with her first poetry collection, Khushbu (1976), which earned the Adamjee Literary Award. Alongside her literary career, she served as a civil servant after passing Pakistan's CSS examination. Her poetry beautifully explored themes of love, loneliness, womanhood, and human emotions. She received the Pride of Performance award in 1990 and remains one of the most influential figures in contemporary Urdu literature. #ParveenShakir #UrduPoetry #Ghazal #PoetryLovers #FYP
